After a couple of uncharacteristic missteps and mishaps, will Apple be getting the magic back with its next big announcement? Apple: More security issues?
A German government agency says there are two weak points in the operating systems for iPads, iPhones and iPod touches, and opening a compromised website or file could allow unauthorized access to information, or allow others to listen to conversations. Flip Side: Why the Jury's Still Out on the Apple iPad
The challenge for Apple is whether it can convince the millions of consumers who already own an iPhone or iPod Touch, or are content with their notebook computers, that it’s worth shelling out at least $499. Until Apple gets developers to create more iPad-specific applications that showcase the hardware, it may face the same apathy that plagued other rival devices.
