2010 Census Could be Costly for Louisiana

Lawmakers, parish presidents, demographers and political analysts are concerned about the accuracy of the 2010 Census, because the U.S. Census Bureau indicates that LA is one of only two states to suffer overall population loss. Part of LA’s loss is what is known as “the Katrina effect,” when people left New Orleans and moved to other parishes and states. Full Article.
