Mid-State Communication Services receives world wide recognition for innovation.

Zetron Inc, is a worldwide manufacturer of radio dispatch and 911-telephony equipment with offices in Seattle, WA along with Australia and the U.K.  Zetron manufactures this equipment to be custom configured, programmed and installed by its worldwide dealer network.  Mid-State Communication Services of Alexandria has been recently recognized by Zetron for an innovative and unique application of their radio dispatch console.
Mid-State Communication Services will be featured in the Zetron Advantage Newsletter next month for a radio dispatch console sold and installed at the Jackson Parish Sheriff's Office in Jonesboro, LA.  Mid-State Communications owner Frank J. Coe was interviewed for the article.

The Jackson Parish Sheriff uses an analog VHF radio system along the state's 700 MHz digital radio system.  Mid-State Communications was able to join together these two disparate radio systems to allow the deputies to communicate seamlessly with each other no matter which radio system they were using.
 
This innovative approach was brought to the attention of the Zetron marketing department resulting in the article on Mid-State Communication Services.
