Register, Read, Respond, and Rate
CenlaDaily encourages all readers to register and respond to what we write, what we do, what we link to, etc.
Our editorial policies will be rigorously non-partisan, but that doesn't mean we won't publish edgy, opinionated work. If you check out our list of sources and links, you will find blogs from one end of the political spectrum (say, Dailykos) to the other (say, Drudge). You will find magazines, newspapers, and books all over the political map. Research from both the Heritage Foundation and the Brookings Institute will be reported here. Inclusion of a piece from any of these sources doesn't mean we are endorsing the entity or its philosophy--it simply means we think it will be interesting or informative for our audience. If you have suggestions for sources that we seem to be missing, please let us know.
To accomplish our mission regarding the kind of conversations that we think are important to the future of the region, we need your help. We want your opinions, your feedback, your ratings, your contributions and, just as with our editorial policies, we won't care what part of the political spectrum you happen to occupy. What we do care about is how you interact with other contributors. Disagreeing is encouraged; flaming and namecalling are not.
And just to state the obvious, profanity, racial slurs and the like will not be tolerated. Posts that violate these guidelines will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned.
