ArtWalk starts at 4 p.m. April 15, 2011
Visitors to the annual spring ArtWalk, hosted by the Arts Council of Central LA and the City of Alexandria, will likely hear the ring, ring of Alexandria's only trolley, the Spirit of Alexandria. The Arts Council extended the footprint of ArtWalk to include the Arna Bontempts African American Museum, The T.R.E.E. House Children's Museum and Emmanuel Baptist Church. Full article.

Rapides Parish Coliseum Exhibition Hall will host the Red River Arts & Craft Guild Fall Extravaganza Aug. 29 and 30. Hours are: Sat. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sun. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free admission, door prizes. Local and out-of-state handcrafts, seasonal items. Full article
