CLEDA continues to lead all economic development efforts with a focus on the importance of the development of a competent workforce. This is evidenced by a heavy emphasis on independent studies created specifically for the use of our strategic partners in the Region.
A Manifesto for Learning was prepared in 2015 as a Knowledge Platform Report. It makes the connection between the interdependency of the activities of employers, innovation and knowledge platforms for successful economic development in the region.
Later in 2015, Regional Technology Strategies, Inc. in Chapel Hill, North Carolina prepared a learn and earn implementation for Central Louisiana entitled Putting Work-Based Learning to Work.
