New O.K. Allen Bridge Project to Receive Bids July 28

The O.K. Allen Bridge is 72 years old, patched up just enough to keep it safe until a new bridge is built. Bids are due July 28 and work will begin 60 to 90 days later. The new bridge has a price tag of $120 million, and the DOTD says it will take about 3 to 4 years to complete the new bridge once the work begins. Full Article.

The online resource is designed to provide businesses with a basic understanding of the construction industry, as well as a review of the LA Contractors Licensing Exam.
