CAP's Entrepreneurship Initiative

One of CAP’s core goals is to build the entrepreneurial capacity of Central Louisiana.

CAP is committed to helping create more new businesses, to improving the rates of new business survival and success, to helping businesses grow faster and more profitably, and to helping the region’s existing businesses identify and execute profitable expansion opportunities.

This section of Cenla.org is devoted to the entrepreneurs of Central Louisiana. We are currently in the process of redesigning, expanding and improving the information and links that we provide. During this time, you may run into some navigation problems and gaps in information. CAP provides a wide variety of support to entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs in Central Louisiana. For those considering or working on a business start-up, we provide access to information through this website; through classes, seminars and conferences; and through personal consultation. If you do not find the information that you need on the website, contact us directly and we will assist you in getting the help you need.

For entrepreneurs who have launched their businesses and need to move to the next stage of development, CAP provides direct hands-on assistance in meeting the challenges of growth and expansion. Each client is assigned a coach and assigned to a team with other entrepreneurs at a similar stage of development. Regular meetings, learning opportunities and assessments make this one of the leading initiatives in the United States.

For advanced entrepreneurs, CAP offers an additional range of more customized, targeted support services.
