The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC Network) provides low- or no-cost guidance and training for small business owners and potential owners.  Part of a statewide network supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Louisiana Economic Development and the host universities, the LSBDC serves Louisiana businesses through confidential counseling, group training, and business information resources.

 
 
 

The Small and Emerging Business Development Program (SEBD) is one of the main delivery vehicles for Louisiana Economic Development to assist small businesses in both the rural and urban regions of the state.

 

 

The Central Louisiana Business Incubator is a not-for-profit corporation created as an economic tool designed to accelerate the growth and success of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services.

 

 

Kisatchie-Delta Regional Planning & Development District is a non-profit, planning and development agency serving 54 member governments within eight parishes of central Louisiana. The agency was established in 1967 to provide economic development assistance, and it has gradually expanded to include Comprehensive Planning, Community Development, Federal Procurement Technical Assistance, Business Development Loans, Entrepreneurial Development, Special-Purpose Planning, and Tourism and Retirement Promotion. The District was created and is supported by dues paying Police Juries and Municipalities.

Here you can also find tips for landing your dream job, including guidelines for writing cover letters and résumés, plus hints to help you successfully enter the job market and the workplace, including information on workers’ rights and responsibilities.

Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia and Washington D.C., SCORE has 364 chapters in the United States as well as in U.S territories. SCORE is a partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
